Join us for Success in our OPEN Introductory Session for the BABOK Study Group 2025!!
The IIBA® Brussels Chapter is dedicated to enhancing the recognition and value of business analysis across organizations. By promoting and facilitating a deeper understanding of the BABOK® Guide, we aim to contribute to the professionalization of business analysis in Belgium. As more organizations appreciate the value of business analysis, professionals in the field will gain greater recognition for their vital contributions.
Our BABOK Study Group is designed to achieve this goal through a series of interactive and collaborative meetups.
In these sessions, we will:
- Facilitate, present, and discuss the chapters of the BABOK® Guide in an engaging and interactive manner.
- Exchange practical experiences related to the chapters being discussed, allowing participants to connect theory with real-world application.
- Work in teams to bring the BABOK® Guide to life by applying its principles to real-life cases.
These sessions go beyond mere reading or lecture-style presentations. The interactive dialogue and collaborative problem-solving foster a deeper understanding of the BABOK® Guide that is difficult to achieve through solitary study or traditional classroom settings. Regardless of your level of experience, you’ll find value in the diverse perspectives and insights shared by your peers.
Study group activities require participants to actively engage with the material, forming a basis for rich discussions that illuminate the nuances of business analysis tasks and objectives. For those unfamiliar with certain aspects of the profession, these activities bring the BABOK® Guide to life, making complex concepts more accessible and easier to comprehend.

This includes not only active participation during the sessions but also preparation and engagement with your colleagues between meetings. This approach allows you to maximize the support offered by the IIBA Brussels Chapter and fully benefit from the study group experience.
Our journey begins with this OPEN Introductory Session, where we will answer your questions and set the stage for the study group. Following this kick-off, we will organize several follow-up sessions, each dedicated to one of the BABOK Knowledge Areas, culminating in the presentation of a Case Study.
