Communication and creative thinking are two of the key drivers of business analysis. We all know that both are valuable assets of the business analyst but not everyone involved in the project has the same skills. This is where the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method might come as a solution. LSP facilitates meetings, everyone builds and everyone discusses. This process of creating something unlocks new perspectives and results in more creativity, better reflection and honest discussions. If you wonder how this toy can help you in conducting better meetings and sharing ideas, this workshop will show how you can start to become a Lego® serious play® facilitator.
The Lego® serious play® methodology is based on a set of fundamental beliefs of leadership and organisations:
- The success of a leader depends not only on him/herself but also on all other stakeholders involved;
- People want to take ownership and be part of something bigger;
- Giving each stakeholder the ability to contribute and share his/her opinion;
- Getting the most of the stakeholders' knowledge;
- We live in a complex and adaptive world.
LSP facilitates sharing ideas, assumptions and understandings during a workshop. 'Just' talking can naturally exclude stakeholders from participating in the dialogue or limit creative thinking. LSP gives everyone the chance to collaborate and share insights. It enables constructive reflection and dialogue processes by creating models with LEGO® bricks visualising thoughts, expressions and ideas.
During this workshop, Sven Cipido will explain how LEGO® bricks can improve communication and why a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop can lead to more valuable and insightful input. He will explain the strengths and clear up the misunderstandings of this methodology.
This workshop will show you how this toy can help you to conduct valuable meetings. If you or your company wants to learn more about how you can tackle complex challenges and you are open to apply a different approach then this workshop is a must-do!
Join us at 19h00 on the 2nd of December and be surprised how Lego® can add value to your projects!
