Filip Hendrickx
Filip loves bridging business analysis and innovation and mixes both in his work as speaker, trainer, coach, author and consultant.
As co-founder of the BA & Beyond Conference and IIBA Brussels Chapter President, Filip is a long-time driving force in fostering the BA profession and community. Filip’s dedication was recognised with the 2022 IIBA® EMEA Region Volunteer of the Year Award.
Together with Ian Richards, Filip is the author of Brainy Glue, a business novel on business analysis, innovation and change. Filip is also co-author of the BCS book Digital Product Management and of Cycles, a book, method and toolkit enabling faster innovation.

Ambassador
Stefan Bossuwé
Passionate about business analysis, Stefan founded in 2009 the IIBA® Brussels Chapter together with a small group of BA enthusiasts, where he was appointed to Chapter President which he remained for 10 years. He’s currently still very active as the Chapter’s Ambassador.
In 2012, he became the first CBAP® in Belgium + Luxembourg.
With 30+ years of professional experience in various roles and more than 20 different business domains, Stefan assists organisations in increasing their BA maturity e.g. coaching and introducing / deploying methodologies + best practices.
Stefan is very driven on promoting business analysis and shares his knowledge and experience as a speaker at various international conferences and seminars.
As such he’s one of the first content providers of IIBA’s Knowledge Hub and is co-originator of the successful (copied by several IIBA Chapters) case oriented BABOK® Study Group approach, which he still facilitates for the IIBA Brussels Chapter.

With extensive experience in data management and integration, Mounir has successfully led initiatives at FANUC Europe Corporation and supported various industries in adopting innovative solutions.

Ann Leemans
Ann Leemans is an experienced Management Consultant at Harmony Group with a solid track record in the financial industry. In a continuously evolving digital environment and the changing importance of project approaches, Ann's expertise is to advise and facilitate strategic thinking exercises while placing people at the core of organizational change and transformation. Ann joined the IIBA Brussels Chapter in September 2019 to take care of the Marketing and Communication strategy in order to reach out to the expanding Business Analysis community in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Meet Bart Verbeke, a 38-year-old business analyst (at the time of writing in 2024) with a dozen years of experience in business analysis, product management, agile methodologies, process management, and testing. Bart has made waves in various industries, from banking and telecom to government, pharmaceuticals, and public transport. He's your go-to professional for both Waterfall and Agile projects, consistently delivering top-notch results and thriving under pressure.
Beyond the workplace, Bart is a family man, with two kids who keep life entertaining. In his downtime, he's all about padel, football, reading, blockbuster movies, friends, beer and local bars.
But here's the kicker – Bart's not just your average Joe. He's got an out-of-this-world curiosity, with a passion for astronomy, AI, and quantum science. Whether he's navigating the cosmos or navigating complex business strategies, Bart is your go-to agile business analyst, adding a touch of fun and fascination to everything he does.
At IIBA Brussels chapter, Bart is in the lead for event organisation.

Kristof Peeters
Kristof considers analysis as his passion. He is working for more than 20 years as an IT consultant. He is eager in motivating people by using technical as well as analytical skills. In 2011, he discovered the goals and values of IIBA and has been frequenting the events of the Brussels Chapter on a regular basis.
In 2019 Kristof decided in getting more involved in the IIBA Brussels chapter.

Ann Mistiaen started her IT career in early 2000 as a consultant and a functional tester. After building up experience across numerous projects she now works as business analysts for Novado (a software innovation company) providing solutions for both internal and external clients.
Ann's main BA interests are process analysis and visual facilitation. She loves sharing her thoughts and experiences with the BA community.

Christiane Vandepitte
Christiane has been working in Information Technology for over 30 years. She has been working mainly for large companies and large government departments in Belgium. She designs custom-made software applications for data processing, writes the manuals and teaches the future users of the new applications. She works in Dutch, French, English and German.

Liza Ivankova
Liza is an IT Business Analyst with experience in developing web, desktop, mobile, and IoT solutions. She has worked for almost 10 years at outsource companies and participated in projects from different domains: education, insurance, civil aviation, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and several others. She worked in teams from 5 to 35+ members, with start-ups and international corporations from Europe and the US. Now she lives in Eindhoven and works as an in-house Lead Business Analyst.
As a volunteer in the Brussels IIBA Chapter she would like to contribute to the BA community and keep learning from other BAs.

Nils Steyaert
Nils Steyaert is a business analyst focused on the business (master) data and business process management. With a background in environmental chemistry and energy engineering, he is mostly active in the utilities and energy sector. Nils has a strong interest in the interface between humans and their technology, is conservative if it comes to automation and prefers simplification instead. Because clients often place him into expert teams or centers of excellence, it made a lot of sense for Nils to join the biggest center of excellence in the world for his profession, namely the IIBA.

Patsy Wouters
Patsy Wouters is a Business Analyst/Business Consultant and PMI certified Project Manager since 1982.
She has experience in various roles for Automotive, Government, Banking, Telecom and Security projects. She has international/global expertise in a multi-vendor environment.
Patsy also co-founded the IIBA Brussels Chapter launched in March 2009 in Belgium, initially fulfilling the secretary role.

Robin Smets
Robin Smets is a Senior Consultant in the banking & insurance industry with a keen focus on Business Analysis & Agile Transformation. He worked on several international client projects in domains like fund management, finance, credits, retail banking, HR and insurance in both predictive and adaptive environments. He is also active as BA Competence Centre Leader at Contraste Europe.
Robin has a passion for productivity and effectiveness and is always looking for innovative ways to help organizations reap the advantages of correctly applying the principles of chosen methodologies. He thrives on solving complex situations and trying to depict them in the simplest way possible.
